Booking Terms and Conditions

1. You must be 18 years of age or over and have the legal capacity to enter into a legally binding agreement.

2. By submitting an online booking from our website www.themaltstershouse.co.uk, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions. If there is anything you wish to clarify with us, please do so by contacting us by phone or email before you submit your booking request and payment.

3. The number of persons stated in the booking may not be exceeded at any time.

4. The maximum holiday period permitted is 28 consecutive days.
The minimum holiday period accepted is 3 nights. If less than 3 nights are required, you are still required to pay the price for 3 nights.

5. Check-in and departure:
We will be ready for you any time after 4.00 pm on the day your booking
starts. You will be sent full access details a few days before your arrival date.
Check-out time on your departure day is by 10.00 am.

6. Payments and deposits: A pre-payment deposit of 30% of the total price is required to secure your booking. Payments can be made online by credit or debit card. You will be sent an emailed receipt from our credit card processor, Stripe, when your payment is made successfully. All bookings will be confirmed in writing by us on receipt of your deposit payment. The balance payment is due 8 weeks before the start of your stay. If booking less than 8 weeks prior to your arrival date, you will be required to send the full cost of your stay.

7. Cancellation: you will be charged 30% of the total price if you cancel after the booking is confirmed, but before 8 weeks before your arrival date. If you cancel less than 8 weeks before your arrival date you will be charged the total price. Cancellations can be made by phone, but must be confirmed in writing or by using the form on our website.

If your booking is cancelled by us due to circumstances beyond our control, notification will be given of the cancellation as soon as possible and we will promptly refund all payments made to us for your holiday. Our liability for cancellation will be limited to payments made to us.

8. Pets: Unfortunately, the property is not suitable for pets.

9. Smoking and/or vaping is not permitted in the property.

10. Damage and breakages: Unfortunately, breakages and damage can happen from time to time. All breakages and damage must be reported to us on or before departure and must be paid for.
